Chat threads per tab, and Ask Donna in a new tab 💬

This release is mostly about chat: each tab keeps its own conversation, and you can start one without a document open.

A chat thread for every tab 💬

Chat used to be one running conversation. Now each tab has its own thread, so the questions you asked about a lease stay with the lease and don't bleed into the advice you're drafting in the next tab.

• Switch tabs, keep your place. Come back to a document and the conversation you were having about it is still there.

• Chat history in the sidebar. Past conversations are listed in the sidebar, so you can reopen one rather than asking again.

Ask Donna from the new-tab menu

The new-tab dropdown now has an Ask Donna option. Open a chat tab on its own — no document required — for the questions that aren't about a particular file.

Pinned projects and workspaces, everywhere 📌

What you've pinned now shows up the same way on Home, in Workspaces and on the dashboard, instead of each screen having its own idea of what was pinned.

Also fixed 🐛

• The Files panel showed an empty state for documents you hadn't saved yet. Unsaved documents now appear in the list like everything else.

• The warning that a document can't be read no longer opens behind a neighbouring pane where you couldn't reach it.
